Spain ended their June 22 jinx as they beat the world champions Italy 4-2 on penalties. The game looked set for penalties as Italy were never looking to play attacking football and it was down to the best goalkeepers in the world to take their side to the last 4 and it was Iker Casillas who did it for Spain as he saved two kicks and taking Spain to the semifinals.Spain [0 - 0] Italy
